I'll admit it--when my computer crashed (and I mean CRASHED) this summer, I made the long journey to Northgate Mall in search of some serious technical support. Little did I know it would be months before my computer was back in the game, and no thanks to Best Buy! In fact, after shelling out over a hundred dollars for a new hard drive and the price of labor, they returned m y computer to me in the exact condition I had left it!
New hard drive and scraggly old computer in hand, I called Help Computr and tried again. Help Computr is Jeff, an easy going dude with formidable knowledge of all things computer. He took one look at my computer and went to work, in front of my very eyes, reviving and revising. He explained everything he was doing as he did it, asking me questions regarding my computer use and then making appropriate changes in the computer's software and memory. When Jeff had finished with my computer, he had not only installed the new hard drive but also uploaded a wide array of protection and prevention software (spyware, virus detection, etc). We also personalized my instant messaging system, internet browser, and iTunes library. And nothing was lost in the process--except for any respect I once had for the store known as Best Buy.

Jeff at Help Comptr provided excellent, affordable, and prompt service. Our 6 year old Dell was running terribly slow for far too long--painfully long boot-ups (might as well brew a pot of coffee while you're waiting), crashes, and just all around slowness and unreliability. Jeff jumped right in and fixed what needed to be fixed in no time and also provided useful shareware to keep things running smoothly down the road. He also provided great advice on the most cost effective ways we could upgrade our computer to get a few more years of use out it (which we've done).
